Leeza Yorke

Leeza Yorke is a mezzo-soprano vocalist, earning her bachelors degree in vocal performance from Indiana University, Bloomington and masters degree from Cal State University, Fullerton. Yorke has portrayed the title role of Cinderella in Pauline Viardot’s Cinderella (2022), Zita in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Michael Ching’s Buoso’s Ghost (2022), as well as Stefano in Gounod’s Roméo and Juliet (2023). She has made her international debut as the Nursing Sister and covered the role of the Princess in the International Lyric Academy’s production of Suor Angelica, in Vicenza, Italy. Outside of performing, she is a proud staff member at Rancho Santa Margarita Catholic High School, teaching both opera and musical theatre. Yorke is also the part-time Professional Development Coordinator at The Music Center in downtown Los Angeles, where she is eager to implement Arts into diverse communities and schools across LA.
