Maiko Okajima is a dancer, choreographer, and performer who's interested in how minimalistic body movement affects and creates relationship and narrative to powerful and energetic movements. Her work is influenced by mother earth nature and Buto (Japanese theater performance), which is a simplistic but complex relationship between body movement and space.
