Alexander Martin

Violin

Alexander Martin is an engineer by day and a musician by night. He specializes in systems engineering, environmental design, and mathematical modeling. At heart, he is a puzzler and a problem solver, drawn to discovering and creatively harnessing the mathematics that govern the world. Outside of his work, Alexander plays with the Red Coyote Band (redcoyoteband.com) and regularly plays in church services at Lutheran Church of the Master in Santa Monica, CA.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Alexander graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 2018 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Violin Performance. His past classical musical engagements have included Susannah, Cosi fan tutte, Die Zauberflote, a tour of China with the Northwestern Symphony Orchestra, and choral performances with the Northwestern Chorus and Allice Millar Chapel choir in the Chicago area. Alexander lives in Westchester LA.
