ORCHESTRA

Araksia Nazlikian began her violin studies at age 7 in Erevan, Armenia. After receiving her Bachelor of Music degree at Romanos Melikian Music College, she emigrated to U.S. She continued her studies at CSU Fresno where she made her debut solo recitals. Presently living in Los Angeles, she has played in various orchestras, including the Monterey Symphony, San Luis Obispo Opera, and the Fresno & Thousand Oaks Philharmonic orchestras. Araksia has been a recitalist for MTAC Fundraising for several years. She continuous to be part of the music life in the Los Angeles area, both as an orchestra player and chamber musician. She is also a Registered Teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
