Daniel Jo is a Junior at Castaic High School. He has played 6 years of saxophone spanning alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. He has been in the Trinity Classical Academy’s Symphonic orchestra and jazz band for three years and two years respectively. He has also performed in the Castaic High School’s band for a year before he had to leave because of a busy junior schedule. In piano, he has trained classically under the instruction of Lauren Companetz for 11 years and has done piano competitions in the valley. In the last concert at his school he played Chopin’s Scherzo no.2 op.31. Although not well versed with operatic performances, he was nevertheless excited to work alongside Mission Opera.
