Dori Jurican

Assistant Stage Manager / Scenic Painter

Dori (Doroteja) Jurican (Assistant Stage Manager/Scenic Painter) is currently a transfer honor student at California State University Northridge, majoring in Theatre. Though she originally comes from Slovenia in Europe, she wants to continue her education and expand her horizons in America. Along with an associate’s degree at Santa Monica College, Dori has been a part of two theatre productions: Shakespeare In Love (2019) and Infinite Black Suitcase (2019). At CSUN, she was cast in Theatre Guild’s Spotlight Series: Radio plays as a voice actress of 5 student-written plays and as the lead in 2 student Zoom plays during the 10-minute Play Festival. She was recently nominated for her performance in Playwright’s Will (2020), and is looking forward to participating in KCACTF’s Irene Ryan regional acting competition next year. Besides performing, Dori got her hands on being an ASM and program designer for Landmark’s The Gondoliers (2021), CSUN’S Marian, Marian, Marian; and as a scenic assistant for The Old Maid and the Thief/El Teléfono.
