Jason Vincent, a bass-baritone based in greater Los Angeles, has garnered praise for his warm, rich tone and thoughtful musicality. During his time at San Jose State University, where he studied vocal performance and music education, Jason co-founded the jazz choir, revealing his passion for diverse musical genres. He has played a vital role in all aspects of opera stagecraft, from props and stage management to lighting, sound, scenery, and even directing and musical directing. This comprehensive understanding of the production process enriches the operatic tapestry and speaks to his dedication to the art form. In recent years, Jason has expanded his operatic repertoire, gracing productions by VOPA/Mission Opera and Landmark Opera. From Roméo et Juliette and Susannah to Pirates of Penzance and Magic Flute, his performances showcase his dynamic range and artful expression.
