Jonathan Weedman


Born and raised in Los Angeles, from 1996 to 2016, Jonathan Weedman served as Senior Vice President of the Wells Fargo Foundation in Los Angeles where he managed charitable contributions for the company’s largest market with an annual budget in excess of $20 million, which ranked it the largest corporate donor to non-profits in the region. He later served as the 6th Executive Director for the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles from 2017-19. He has served on numerous Board of Directors including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Colburn School, and the Grand Park Foundation as Founding Chair; and served as Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Commissioner appointed by then-Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. In 2015 The Los Angeles Business Journal ranked him among the 500 most influential Business Leaders in Los Angeles. He currently serves as Consultant for several non-profit organizations in Los Angeles, drawing on his over 25 years of leadership, organizational and fundraising experience, knowledge, and extensive contacts in the sector. He has studied classical piano and symphonic conducting and is an avid student of American political history. He is the grandson of former California Governor Goodwin J. Knight and is married to his husband of 15 years, Raymundo Baltazar. They reside in Altadena.
