CHORUS

Born in East Los Angeles, Jacob Alvarez-Ruiz is a young baritone and son of two Salvadoran immigrants. Jacob has been singing in choirs since childhood. He also has experience as a choral conductor in multiple states along the West Coast. He is currently attending California State University Northridge pursuing a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance. He has had multiple roles in operas, and chorus roles in independent opera companies. His most recent productions include Street Scene by Kurt Weil, Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart, and Così fan Tutte by W.A. Mozart.
