Così Fan Tutte
‘Cosi fan tutte’ is an Italian opera in two acts, composed at the end of the 18th century also known as the Age of Reason. Mozart and his librettist Da Ponte used the theme of fiancée swapping’ to convey that matters of the heart come from human vulnerability, not via supernatural or spiritual devices. The opera was first staged in Vienna in 1790.
