Andy Arensman, born and raised in Southern California, holds a music degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a master’s in French Horn performance from UCLA. During his undergrad, he was a featured horn soloist with the symphony, wind ensemble, and choir. While his main passion is playing the horn as a freelancer, Andy’s love for learning has led him to experience a wide variety of positions within the field of music: librarian, educator, stage manager, composer, arranger, web developer, and much more. He spent time interning as a musicologist in Vienna and as a sound editor in Los Angeles. Andy is thrilled to be performing with the Mission Opera and apply all that he has learned.
