Raised in a small town in southern NH, Matt grew up enjoying the outdoors, playing sports and spending time with friends. The great gift of music began with violin lessons at the age of eight, then added guitar as well by age thirteen. Once in high school, it was clear that a career in music was the desired path. Matt continued on to attend Keene State College for Music Education before realizing that Berklee College of Music was the right choice and auditioned there to study Guitar Performance under the mentorship of Norm Zocher, Jim Peterson and Bruce Bartlett. Since transplanting to California, Matt has toured with local bands, traveled the world performing on cruise ships, and moved to Los Angeles to further pursue a career in music.
