Meredith Burns is an Oboe & English Hornist originally from Lexington, KY. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where she completed her Master's in Oboe Performance under the instruction of Dr. Jonathan Davis at the University of California, Los Angeles. Before moving to LA in 2015, Meredith earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Digital Media Productions from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN with instruction from Malcolm Smith. Since graduating from UCLA, she has gone on to perform with the American Youth Symphony, YMF Debut Orchestra, Burbank Chamber Orchestra, Southland Symphony, and other freelance opportunities throughout Southern California. Though she spends her days as a Marketing Coordinator for an agency, you can find her giving both in-person and virtual lessons and practicing for upcoming gigs in the evenings.
