ORCHESTRA

Monique is originally from northern California and grew up playing in community orchestras in the Sacramento area. She has played the viola since she was 9, and enjoys playing many other instruments including piano, guitar, ukulele, and also had a stint on the bassoon in high school. In college and graduate school she was very active in the music department while she studied civil engineering and also completed a music minor. She currently works as a licensed civil engineer and has contributed to many water resources projects throughout California.
