As a long time mezzo with LA Opera, Christie has sung over 20 operas with Placido Domingo. She has also sung with such artists as Anna Netrebko, and Renee Fleming and worked with directors Franco Zefferelli, Julie Taymor and more. She has toured as a solo artist in Europe, with Columbia Artists and sung many leads and supporting roles with regional opera companies. During COVID, she started her own Opera Company, Opera á la Mode and recorded The Old Maid and the Thief by Menotti. She will be reprising her role as Miss Todd at Boston Court Theater in Pasadena, and with Mission Opera this fall. (Pre-COVID, she performed her One Woman Show “Mezzos who Zwish” at Boston Court to critical acclaim. She will soon be singing the lead in the original opera Olvera Street. Christie has sung on numerous film soundtracks such as Spiderman, The Matrix and The Simpsons international releases in over 10 languages. Pre-Covid, she performed her One Woman Show Mezzos who Zwish at Boston Court Theater critical acclaim. As a graduate from USC, and with a Masters in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Cal. State Los Angeles, Christie also teaches voice and piano. She has two Teaching Credentials and is Certified in Kodaly. She also directs and performs her Opera bellydance act (as seen on America’s got Talent) whenever possible!
