David Herrington

Bass

A Kentucky native, David Herrington is an operatic bass that has become a fixture in the Los Angeles/Orange County area for regional opera. David completed his undergraduate degree at Morehead State University and his Master’s at Rice University under the tutelage of Dr. Stephen King. After taking a hiatus from singing for a period of time to focus on his voice-over career in LA, he returned to the stage to perform the role of Il Commendatore in Don Giovanni for Mission Opera in Santa Clarita in November of 2021, covering the role of Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte for Lyric Opera of Orange County this past February, and performed the role of Zuniga in LOOC’s production of Carmen this past June. Romeo et Juliette is his second production with Mission Opera and he studies under Hugo Vera.
