Jacque Mahoney

Soprano

Jacque Mahoney, Soprano/Singer - was born and raised in Los Angeles, holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Classical Vocal Performance, and loves being involved in all types of musical projects, including working on her original musical/drama -VIOLET. After taking a vocal break for some time, Jacque is enjoying singing again with regional company opera chorus' and she is excited to soon be singing the role of Micaela early this spring in Landmark Opera's production of Carmen. Throughout her operatic journey she has sung a range of soprano roles, beginning with Cherubino, then, Mrs. Grose, Fiordiligi, Miss Wordsworth, Alice, Arminda, Lucia, Konstanze, Donna Anna and finally Micaela. Jacque enjoys doing outreach work and hopes to someday establish artistic and musical scholarships for those interested in creative arts regardless of their age, disability, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or social status. She has organized, performed in and produced many concerts, and thoroughly enjoys all of the creative and organizational aspects of the arts. Jacque is ever thankful for her family and friends, and for her many muses - including her beloved son, Damon – who is her inspiration, and she sends many thanks to Josh Wentz and Mission Opera for welcoming her into their wonderful troupe! Here's to the music!
